Terry J. Pierce, CEO

Medcode is a family based, faith based company located in historic Frederick Maryland. Aside from being affiliated with our local college, FCC, we're also a proud member of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce. You're probably aware by now that Medcode is not geographically challenged. Remember, our web based software works anywhere that you do. The founder and CEO of Medcode is Ms. Terry Pierce. Ms. Pierce has been in the profession for the better part of the 13 years. She is a certified medical coder and a member of the AAPC

Ms. Pierce is also a member of two Peer Review and editorial committees with MMI/Contexo Media. She is the chair for the Specialty Coding Review Board, as well as being a participating member in the Practice Management Committee.

Another organization Ms. Pierce is active with is the MGMA. She is working with some of the top people in the industry. This commitment to excellence brings providers and their staff better training materials, and better classroom level training as well.

Terry is also a member of the ARHCP. She has worked as a consultant for a nationally recognized training company, and has also taught students in the classroom. The teaching experience alone has given her a valuable first hand look at the future of the industry.
